Summary:This text narrates the stories of a group of young men between 18 and 25 years old, where the expressions, memories and judgments about the experience of being sons and their elaborations on the proper exercise of paternity are analyzed. It is integrated by several men, mostly single. They are interviewed about their experiences and memories about their childhood, their upbringing, affective relationships, discipline, care-neglect. These young men redefine the experiences which they went through during their childhood with the men that represented a father figure. At the same time, what are the practices they value as desirable and undesirable in the exercise of paternity.
