Summary:This paper has for aim think about the role that has the radical documentary film in the historical construction of the subalternities, considering the recent emergency of the cinematographic production a type valid document to the study of the culture and the social processes. For it, will take the case of documentary “Sabino Vive, las últimas fronteras” produced by Carlos Azpúrua in the year 2014, which constitutes a controversial example of the importance that acquire the power relations in the scope and diffusion of this type of material, affecting the positioning of the contents that express as a type of historical vestige, that is to say, as a form validates of representing and interpreting social realities that commonly would happen unnoticed.
