Summary:Using the narrative style of the northwest region of Chihuahua, the text presents a case of resilience: the case of a young graduate of the Multidisciplinary Division of the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez in Cuauhtemoc. The case is emblematic of the complexity of the challenges that the students from rural communities are facing, and allows the reflection about how these students are positioned to respond to these challenges, and about how the experience to study, allows them to take new attitudes to life, outside the university classroom.
