Zusammenfassung:The objective of this research is to optimize the distribution process in the businesses of a gallery in the Gamarra commercial emporium, Peru, by analyzing its current situation. To do so, a methodology was used that included a semi-structured interview with the owner of one of the stores, as well as the development of a mathematical model that allows the evaluation of current costs and, with it, project the benefits of implementing logistics management software with telematics technology. As a result, it was found that the implementation of the software, together with the outsourcing of the distribution process, could reduce costs by 30% compared to the current situation, which would imply a substantial improvement in the AS IS situation of many of these businesses. However, limitations were identified, such as the reluctance of stores to provide data, as well as the need for a complementary plan to ensure that the estimated results are achievable. This plan includes training strategies in the use of the software, continuous monitoring of its impact and adaptation of the processes according to the specific needs of each store.
