Gaia:In the metal-mechanic industrial area, this project aimed to improve the workstations integrated into a forming process, analyzing the workstations where laser cutting machines, drawing tables, CNC bending, and inspection operate, areas where required were identified. improve working and operating conditions, taking measurements of working conditions and carrying out an evaluation with the Official Mexican Standards (NOM), with reference to noise, lighting, high or low thermal conditions-Safety and hygiene conditions and as well as factors of ergonomic risk at work. In addition, with the evaluation of some ergonomic methods, it was possible to identify the probability of activities that could generate risks of musculoskeletal injuries, applying industrial improvement tools, such as process reengineering, 5S, SMED and ergonomics, an improvement proposal was made. of the CNC press process, achieving an improvement in performance measures and reducing ergonomic risk conditions from medium to low level, as well as increasing the productivity of the process.
