Summary:Violence against women constitutes an offense to the dignity of people and a violation of human rights has become a global social, economic, legal, health and political problem and a retrograde manifestation by reproducing unequal power relations between men and women, whose maximum expressions are enforced disappearance and femicide. While significant progress in human rights is identified in Mexico and the state of Chihuahua, significant human rights progress is identified, this type of violence has increased considerably in recent decades, hundreds of cases recorded annually.
