| Summary: | El desarrollo de las tecnologías de la información y, con ellas, Internet/World Wide Web que engloba a las redes sociales, ha modificado no solo la manera en como las personas se comunican e informan, sino la concepción del Estado, cuyos elementos en varias ocasiones se han transformado para adaptarse a los cambios, pero en otras han sido rebasados, dando lugar a movimientos independientes o nacionalistas. Estas herramientas han diluido las barreras espaciales, temporales y estatales, y han contribuido al nacimiento de nuevas formas de Estado y a la evolución geopolítica que emergió desde finales del siglo xx. Cataluña, adicionada a España, ha buscado en múltiples momentos históricos independizarse sin haber alcanzado el objetivo.Sin embargo, un error del Tribunal Constitucional posibilitó el resurgimiento de las ideas de independencia. En ellas, las tecnologías de la información e Internet/World Wide Web han jugado un papel determinante, comunicando las acciones en tiempo real.Catalonia independence movement and the Internet as a mobilization toolABSTRACTThe information technologies development and with them the binomial Internet/World Wide Web that encompasses social networks has changed not only the way that people communicate and get informed,but the conception of the State whose elements on several occasions have been transformed from adjusting to the changes, but in others cases they have been overtaken giving rise to independent or nationalist movements. These tools have diluted the State, spatial, and temporal barriers, and have contributed to the birth of new forms of State and geopolitical evolution that emerged since the end of the 20th century.Catalonia, added to Spain, has sought in multiple historical moments to become an independent State without having reached the goal. Nevertheless, an error of the Constitutional Court enabled the resurgence of the independence ideas. In them, information technologies and the binomial Internet/World Wide Web have played a decisive role communicating the actions in real-time. |
