Description
Summary:The José Moreno Arenas´ spanish dramaturgy, master of minimal theater and hipertextuality, incorporates one of the outstanding themes in the complexity of the dawn of the XXI century: racism; his works: El cuchitril, El deseo, Las olas, El safari y La playa discuss the clash of mentalities between the migrant and the receiver population in the current Europe; to emphasize the double role that the Spaniards have lived in the XX century, but over all from a critic view, questioning the lack of memory of the peninsular people in relation with the migratory processes that they lived through the XX century to America and the north of Europe. The contributions of Michel Foucault just like the ones of Iuri Lotman allow the analysis of the connection of the power established by the States through xenophobia.
