| Summary: | The article makes a reflection about the tradition of Christology through the vision of two modern Mexican poets. The figure of Jesus in Concha Urquiza and Gloria Riestra’s poetry have nuance of meanings. While in the first prevails the Gospel’s alive, the beloved of the Cantar de los Cantares, the Shepherd of the sinoptics, the God’s son of John and Saint Buenaventura, what it prevails in the second poetess is God as Trinity, like meister Echkhart maintains. Inspired by The Bible and the spanish mystic poets, both writers reword and signify in a new manner the theological elements in order to reach the poetic expression. |
