Description
Summary:Most of students from the introductory physics courses show conceptual understanding problems. One possible cause is the conventional instruction. This teaching style is based on a lack of cognitive interaction between the subject (student) and the knowledge object. A didactic alternative is the use of technology through Augmented Reality. This teaching model helps students to visualize and represent the conceptual nuclei students need to develop a functional understanding. A Physics II group (Experiment Group Classical Mechanics) was espoused to this learning model in physics laboratory, through a Projectile Motion lab. Pre and post exams results indicate a Hake’s knowledge gain of 0.55 for experiment group, and a 0.44 for control group exposed to in-lab conventional instruction.
